Blizzard has released the Wrath of the Lich King opening cinematics, and I was actually disappointed in it. It was nice at the start, but ended to quickly. I have always loved the cinematics for WoW and BC due to the battles being shown between Horde and Alliance. It was always nice to watch your classes battle it out on "the big screen", but WotLK only shows him, his army, his dragon, and of course his sword. That's it? yep that's it.
I think that Blizzard went a little short with this. I did enjoy the movie don't get me wrong, however I was left with this saying running through my mind "that's it? wheres the rest? maybe I had a broken linked page. Let me try another one.... wow I guess that was it. hmm, doesn't show much or tell me much."

What are your thoughts on this?

How many will try Warhammer?
So how many people will try Warhammer online?
I will be trying it out, no I am not going to switch from WoW to Warhammer, however it will be more for those days when I log into WoW and want to play something and I just don't know what to do on WoW, well now I can do Warhammer.
If Warhammer bombs out, then no Warhammer for me and I continue to do the Burnout of WoW like always.
From the looks of screenshots and videos, this may be a decent contender for WoW.
Good and Evil ( Order and Destruction) will not have the same classes to pit against each other, so this will make to some good battles. There are similar classes to WoW, but they still have unique differences. WH ( WarHammer) will be more PVP ( Player vs. Player) based which is usually fun. I hope that this doesn't bomb like Conan. Conan was such a good game at the start then they went to hell with having to group up like FF, The blood and guts and adult situations were great, but then you had the issue of needing a super computer to play. Hopefully WH will be a little different. Most of the game is simliar to WoW and LotR so hopefully they have taken the best of both worlds and combined them..
If anyone wants info on Warhammer please let me now and I can go into massive detail about the game and it's aspects.

to Alt or not to Alt that is the question. isn't it? I think it is.. /hrmmm
So I am kinda having a WoW dilemma. I log in now and stare at my character selection screen and don't know what to do.. I have my hunter of course ( he is my pride .. they just grow up way to fast /tear), my mage (who is my joy) lol.. and then my alts... all of them.. way to many of them... urghh..
well when I log in I just stare and don't know what to do and trying to decide is having a massive argument with myself ( doesn't end well.. violence is never the answer and it hurts../crazy off.)
I can long into my hunter or mage as I still don't have an epic flyer.. ( <--- Broke loser) . I hate grinding 80% of the time and the days I do feel like grinding It's to late in the evening/morning and I start to drift at the desk... ( you all know what I mean.. you close your eyes to blink - very long blink- and your looking at the spirit healer). "oh oh I know, do some dailies." this is something I did for a week straight and became bored of it, but I still go on and do them once in a while. so all my money goes to alts and pots for raiding and such. urgh alts word.
So here is my other issue. I have quite a few alts. they are listed below:
Alliance
50-nelf druid
46- dwarf warrior
44- gnome lock
36- dran( how ever you spell it) priest
26- dran( refer to above) shaman
14- gnome rogue
Horde
30- cow shaman
21- belf rogue
19- belf lock
12- troll hunter
and the rest under 10.
so now the question is who do I pick to play.
I want to level my druid up, but I am at that boring area and playing solo makes that area even more boring.
I could work on the other 2 in the 40's, but i just went through hell (STV) to get to 50 with my druid and doing it again may cause me to become comatose.
well what about your horde.. good question..
again all toons are at the boring spot and I just can't get myself to continue on with them.... although I do want a horde to level 70 I just can't take the barrens chat..lol
So now what do I do??
How do you all do it? log in everyday and either play your main farming or alting it up, how do you choose???
/help?..
Other Wow Blogs /blogsites or non wow.
I would like to update my list of great wow blogs or even non blogs, Please if you have or know of great wow blogs or non wow blogs please post the link so I can read and post links on the menu side.

Sitemeter
I just added a site meter for my purposes to see how many people stop by. For those of you that do please say hi and such and if you have a blog or a website post it and I will link it to my main page.
Cheers to all.
:)
I wonder???
I wonder if anyone actually reads my blog ( besides me of course). If so Is there anything I can work on or write about to increase readers? I like to write about all kinds of ideas and such, but If no one reads should I still continue to write on this blog? BRK had a good point on his site about blogging even if no one reads it (http://www.bigredkitty.net/2008/08/07/almost-everything-including/ ) I can agree with that and will still write my thoughts and feelings about stuff. If you Read this, let me know what you think over all, I am curious.
Thanks

Battlegrounds! You Lose!
Why does the horde own most of the battlegrounds? At least on most of the servers I play on they do.
Alliance players will win at the 19 twink level most of the time in WSG, which I kind of find irritating. Some level 70 alliance players will actually complain about losing in BG's all the time, yet they have lvl 19 twinks, go figure. Instead of focusing on their lvl70 toon with gear, they level a 19 toon and gear the smack out of it, which I don't have a problem with level 19 twinks, I have a problem with the person that plays the twink also complains about their lvl 70 toon always losing.
So why do we lose most of the time?
Answer is simple, lack of team work and the attitudes that go with it.
Alliance never really communicate and get a battle plan ready during the 1 minute wait period, nor do buffs even get distributed. It's always a 1 man show, who can kill the most and hope we somehow manage to win at doing so. Also the only communication that goes out is "help" and "you suck" type of /BG chat.
Yeah that's a wining combo...
/sarcasm off
If you ever watch the horde, 90% of them are always grouped with at least 1 to 2 other hordies, the ones that run solo always die. Alliance will try to solo things in a group, odd I know. Let me break this down abit.
Horde: has a plan of attack and defence before the match starts. They have groups set up and will stick with those groups. They buff each other even in mid battle they will buff and heal. They travel in groups. They have very good communication across the /BG chat channel.
Alliance: everyone just wants the marks and honor with as little team work as possible. most of them travel alone. Buffs, yeah once in a blue moon before the battle starts. Heals, Ha forget it. Sometimes they will start as a group and most of the time that group disbands after the first real horde attack. Alterec Valley is the only time the alliance will group and that is because they really have no choice in the matter. Communication across /BG chat is usually someone flaming someone or the entire group. No plans of attack or defence goes out unless its AB and no one ever follows it.
Listen no one likes a hero, when a team effort is needed, and I am pretty darn sure that BG's consist of more then 1 person per team.
Oh yeah also I hear this alot; "but the horde are all deck out in PVP gear"
well that's because they play like a team and win 80% (being generous to the alliance with that number) of the time.
Listen to win a BG takes skill, communication, and above all TEAMWORK!!!! play like your in a raid/pug run. Yes gear helps but if your group has the skills and teamwork they can cut the horde at the throat- take the healers out- and then 5 people focus on the 1 or 2 geared out horde and destroy him/her. Hit them where it hurts. Maybe do the objective of the BG with teamwork.
Some winning Strats for BG's:
WSG:
1.) Get a 7 man offence and go straight for the flag, leave 3 on D just to defend the flag long enough for your team to get their flag.
2.) Try to separate the horde up so they are not in such strong groups, play decoy cat and mouse with them.
3.) Don't guard the flag carrier per say, Guard the possible attack routes to the flag carrier, objective is to stop the horde from reaching the flag carrier not stop them from beating the flag carrier first, let that be a last resort , if the flag drops- its over. So get them before they can even get with in attacking distance of the flag carrier.
AB:
1.) Have 3 teams of 5 people go out and capture some nodes, if you start to die do not run back if most of your party is dead because it will be horde verses 1 or 2 alliance on a chain Resurrection( 5 allies go in 2 die leaving 3, by the time the 2 get back the 3 have died and there still remains 4 horde which will whoop on you, the other 3 come back to a 5 man horde and die and so starts the chain.)
2.) travel in 2 groups of 7 and just stop the horde from taking nodes, when you stop them you take the node back you will always have 3 nodes going.( you have 2 nodes, you go to stop the horde from getting a node and take that node over, now you have 3 nodes. the horde take one of your nodes, but little do they know you are taking one of theirs.)
3.) All 15 allies travel from node to node and just take that node, no point in defending it because by the time the horde take it back you will have 2 more nodes captured.
AV:
1.) 40 man raid style kill the general.
10 stay and defend, 30 go out and kill each mini boss. the 10 staying behind can slow the horde down very well on going right for the general. this will give the alliance plenty of time to take out each mini boss and then all 30 can destroy the horde general.
2.) If you skip the mini boss's then all 30 should go in attack the general and not stand around and wait for someone to attack, I don't know how many times I have witnessed the alliance all standing at the entrance for the horde general, but no one goes and starts the battle until it is to late. This BG is very aggressive.
Eye of the Storm:
1.) again maintain groups, keep 1 group posted at the flag and 2 other groups defending the 2 captured nodes.
2.) one large group go node hunting and run in a square taking nodes as fast as they can, no need to defend. Small group try to either defend or take the flag.
3.) confuse the horde and stay in one large group. try to capture the nodes but when doing so travel to each node across the flag path and either grab or defend it.
I hope these helpful tips will help in your battles against the horde.
oh yeah, yes I am leveling some horde toons and have played the BG from the horde side and yes we win most of the time.

WebSite or Blog
What determines a website or a blog? BRK went from a blog site to his very own site, but still has a blog format and feel, with more options of course. So site or Blog??? Let's ask BRK himself.
BRK???
Do you want to be listed as a site or a blog? what is your reasoning behind the one you pick?
Thanks for your attention with this matter at hand.

Quick Mojo Killers
It's time for something new, a segment I like to call Mojo Killers. This is everything that I want to complain about or boast about, but mostly complain about stuff.
Mana- why is it that 8 of of 10 times people always go "oom" during a boss fight? I know!!!! me.. pick me.... Its because mana driven DPS has spells that cost outrageous amounts of mana, yes I know use mana pots, mages can evocate, warlocks can life tap, priests can..can.. well shadow priests can us a vampiric touch, shamans can use a mana totem, and pallies can use ... use.. err umm... mana pots every 2 min.. so what happens when all your ways of getting mana is on cool down or is just not enough.. ( mana totem).. Yep you guessed it, wand or melee. At least Hunters get to still shoot from their ranged weapon and can crit for 1200 to 1500 white damage and no mana needed. OH SWEET CRIT my wand just crit for 400.. back to 215 damage... way to go you DPS'rs you are burning the last 10% of the boss to obliteration. Now why did we wipe at 8% left... oh yeah mana regains suck that's why.. every class except holy/disc and pallies have a mana regen spell/totem, but lets face it they suck.. Mages can evocate every 8 mins.. woohoo, Locks can commit virtual suicide to try to exchange life for mana, and totems are pretty much worthless for mana regen unless equipped with a shadow priest as well..
Warlocks can give healthstones out and even a healthstone well.. "sharing is caring"
Mages horde their mana stones and give food and water out.. but how does that help me in the middle of a boss fight... I suppose i can eat and drink after the fight..
Lock -"hey mage, can I get one of those manastones you can make?"
mage-"sure let me poof one up....poof!. here.."
Lock-"why is it stuck to your hand? "
mage-"i dont know"
Lock-" at least I share my health stone, ...... stingy mages!!! the only thing your good for is sheeping... bah bah bah."
Lock-" LF1M non stingy DPS'r none mages"
Hunter pets vs. warlock pets.
Warlock get to carry all of their pets with them. Hunters get 1 pet at a time.
Warlocks get pets for certain things( such as: tanks, mana eaters, stamina buffs, charmers/dps), hunters get pets for DPS.
Warlocks can sacrifice pets for the greater good of survivability. Hunters need to keep pets alive.
Warlocks pets never go hungry. Hunter pets need constant food.
Warlocks gets up to 6 pets. Hunters get 3 pets..
Warlocks can buy pet spells, Hunters have to tame, train, and release pet ....
Warlock pets will always level with the Warlock. Hunters pets only level if they get XP, and that is one pet at a time.
Warlock pets are better!!!! Hunters get gimped in the pet area, However Hunters do get to choose their pets....
Oh yeah Warlocks get to call any of their pets in mid battle. Hunters have to rez pet if it dies and the pet gets very emotional.
Why is it Hunters only get 3 stable slots...??? I like 5 different pets...
What is the use of dismissing a pet ..... really there is no use for it anymore..
If I dismiss a pet I should be able to call upon another pet from my stable slot.
Why does my pet get hungry in mid battle.. IF he gets hungry in mid battle then I should be able to feed him in mid battle.
Once a pet goes into combat, happiness level should be locked in for that entire battle.
Hunters should get buff spells for their pets for certain situations, such as: armor/health buff for tanking, Focus buff like Int buff, Strength or Agi buff for DPS. Pet aspect buffs would be nice.
Hunters should get a talent spec for scare beast cast time to be reduced... other classes can instant fear, why can't we???
Hunters should get specific "chance to" DPS buff ammo, such as: fire arrows/bullets that does either fire damage or small DOT's, ice arrows/bullets that will slow or freeze a target maybe even slow attack speed or cast speed, Shadow arrows/bullets that do shadow damage or DOTs.
Viper Stings will drain the enemies mana, why not give us some mana back for doing so, a mana exchange DOT.
Why isn't there any banks in the smaller towns? Its a pain to be at Kara entrance and realize you forgot your buff pots in the bank, now you have to go run over to Stormwind or if you Horde well good luck getting to the closet bank 800 miles away ... see you in 30 minutes.
5 bag slots is definitely enough, but using those slots for ammo, shards, or professions is just wrong. Hunters lose a bag slot right from the start, and then like me, I also have my mining bag and also lost a bank slot to my engineering bag. I think item specific bags slots should unlocked once trained in that profession and should only be used for that specific bag for that slot. Classes like hunters and locks should get ammo slots and shard slots.
FIX the WOW economy please!!!!!!..... 30g for a level 22 green eagle item is down right horrible. That's your mount money there.
Fix the questing system that require you to cross continent travel so that it will give more xp then standard quests that require you to stay in that zone. Why would I want to go to EPL to talk to someone that gives me a crate to deliver to Silithus, then that person in Silithus will tell me to deliver it to someone in Booty Bay, who will then tell me to go back to EPL to collect my reward.. so I travel back to collect my reward and I get 4k xp and a plate head piece... But I can't wear Plate!!!!!! and why did I get more XP for killing and collecting bone fragments from those mobs that are 30 feet away and finished it in 5 min??? Sell the Plate item.. but its soulbound,...... Yes my soul wants to hold onto something that I can't use... that's it he's fired... LF 1 new soul.
/rant over
okay I'm good now, breathing calmly.

Raid/Party Organization
One topic I would like to discuss is "organization"!
Lets face it, with a raid not being organized, it will be a guaranteed wipe. If no one knows what they are supposed to be doing then its a giant jumble of mess and aggravation.
If people don't know their role and they have to be told every time before the fight, then something is seriously wrong.
So what's the game plan you ask? Well I am glad you asked and if you didn't ask then, well, read anyway. /stick tongue out
Rules to organizing a raid/party:
1.) The person that is running the raid should know every ones role ahead of time, so if you plan on leading the run, take a minute and study each class and what they can bring to the table.
2.) After everyone signs up for the run, start setting up an organizational tree that shows everyone who's grouped with who. Please put some thought into this and not just throw people int a group. ( For instance, put a shadow priest or a shaman with mana totem into a group with mana driven DPS, so they can replenish some mana during a fight. We all know that if your mana driven DPS runs out of mana you will get pew pew instead of BANG! BANG!.)
3.) Know who can do what buffs. ( when signing up to a raid, please post what your buffs are so the leader can determine who buffs who.)
4.) Assign the buffers to group buffies. ( mage A will buff groups 1 and 2 with AB, mage B will do groups 3 and 4. Pally A will give might to the raid, Pally B will give kings, Pally C will give Wisdom, Pally A will also give Salv to those requesting it, please /w pally A for salv. Priest A will do fort to groups 1 and 2, Priest B to 3 and 4. and so on...... I think you get my point. /point)
5.) Create a Battle rez list for your Druids on which Druid goes first and in the event that druid 1 dies , druid 2 will step up to spot 1. The battle rez list should be who in order of raid importance to be battle rez'd first; i.e.- priest B or Tank A,. And don't get mad if your importance on the list is towards the bottom that just means there is enough of that raid spec ( ranged DPS) that a battle rez won't be needed.
6.) Make sure your whole raid is mana'd up after every fight before pulling the next wave, again refer to rule 2.
7.) In the event you die be happy with 30 minute buffs, no need to waste time and mana getting your 1 hour buffs set off for 1 to 2 people, use your judgement on this one.
8.) Know the boss fights ahead of time, Its a pain to repeat a long fight over and over again, when the tank or raid leader refers to a part of the fight and if you read up on this fight you will know exactly what he or she is talking about and not having to ask them to repeat this over and over again, you may end up confusing the Leader on this. Most groups will use TeamSpeak or some form of to talk out the strategy, if need be, have dedicated raid leaders such as tank, ranged, melee, and healer leaders. Go to a different channel of TS and have that specific leader go over the raid role and where to position your self for which phase and what to do and what not to do, less confusion as to your role of the raid.
9.) Designate standard break times. ( once we clear the first 10 sets of trash we will take a 5 min bio or smoke break or what ever, before the boss fight take a 5 min break again and do a ready check after and then explain the fight ( I don't know how many times people will AFK to do something and miss the whole strategy to the boss fight and then either screw up or ask for the whole thing to be explained again.) Its understandable that you may need to AFK for a min to do something, just make sure you announce it and make sure the raid leader responds to you needing to AFK.
10.) Please have enough pots and bandages for the fight. ( Hunters have enough pet food- yes I was guilty of this one before./shame) Priests and healers are mana driven and the more they can save on mana by you bandaging the longer the Tank will live......... that's right I went there.. bandage yourself you lazy bum.
11.) This is a good rule or lazy rule to have too: I like to call this "The Lazy Card". Everyone gets one card to use in a run, when they die they can call out in raid chat or TS their Lazy Card and will be rez'd and not have to run back. This can be used for quick AFK's or if you really don't want to run back to your corpse, but remember only One per run per person.
Using these rules as guidelines may just make your runs even smoother and faster, and faster means more baddies downed in one night, which also means more purple shiny goodness...

I will be here all night and remember to repeat this saying " I am someone special" sorry couldn't resist....lol

Magisters's terrace or Magister's terror
So I get to venture into Magister's Terror last night, that's right I said terror....
My party goes in thinking that this will be an easy hour and half to get heroic keyed.. we are in epics and this is just a regular 5 man run..
[insert foot into mouth....NOW]
yeah wow this is actually a very hard instance... we were fine with the trash mobs, the first boss gave us a little trouble but nothing we couldn't handle.
It's the second boss that was the killer, arrest him hes a murderer.. arrest him ... come on... please arrest him.... guess not...
FINE!!! /stomps feet and walks away..
So maybe we had an off night or the gods weren't smiling down on us..or I didn't have enough coffee, but let me tell ya, 40g in repairs and me becoming a shishkabob was not a whole lot of laughing style of fun involved, although I think we became very creative with trying out our own strats too... We followed all the strats that are on the web and still could only get him to 1% and then dirt naps for us all...
We started out with the tank rushing in and then we would start DPS.. our rogue would pick up the first spark, and then my hunter and another hunter then our pets, once we attack a spark, that person would stop DPS until an arcane debuff would were off, but the problem is the debuff cause 300 damage a tick and would almost kill that person. If you don't pick up the spark, it will start to AOE us causing 2-3k in damage.. which we managed to make it threw the sparks however, when Vex reaches 20% health he will do a massive AOE that was hitting me for 4k a tick and hit me 3 times and I was down for the count and so was the rest of my party... Now this AOE was hitting me from across the room( yeah I tried to be slick and run out of range, but apparently it has a very long distance reach).
So in closing don't take this run as a cake walk. It is very tough with this boss in the mix.

Gold farming is irritating
I am getting really annoyed with trying to farm gold for my epic mounts. Yes "mounts" I need 2, one for each toon.
No matter how hard I try I get bored after a while and lose interest in the farming of gold.
I will be fine for about a week, then of course the raids come into play and why would I not want to go?.... hrmmm..??? Of course I am going to go. I get that chance at epic loot, badges, and above all fun.... so yeah no more bored of farming, until the reality kicks in that I still need some gold and at this point I just want to say forget it, I can live without the epic ride.... yeah right who am I kidding..
So yeah Gold is great to have but crappy to obtain.
How do some of you guys make some decent money farming???

I have had alot of gear change since the last time I posted
So I have had alot of gear change since the lst time I posted here, 4 months ago to be exact. I haven't posted in a while because of RL stuff and WoW stuff, and quite frankly I need something to talk about for my return, which will be alot.
Now I am going to use my lazy card on this topic and not post everything I have gotten, just click on my signature up top and view the armory or click here:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Hyjal&n=Severoth
Now I have had some nice changes to my gear and the one I love the most is my wolfslayer sniper rifle:
[WolfSlayer Sniper Rifle]
/grin
/evil grin
once I figure out how to get links to work with the hover effect this will be alot better looking and I can list items.
I have also updated my mage somewhat. I am still working on getting his kara gear.. I Know what your thinking..."Still?"
and yes still... If my mage could wear pally or druid/rogue gear I would have triple full epic gear, but alas mage cloth does not drop well for me..
/sniffle
A LONG AWAITED RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok So I have finally returned to writing up my blog.. I have alot of catching up to do in so little time. Time to catch everyone up with stuff, if anyone will still read this....

So I see that I have been getting alot of visits to my blog here and not to many comments or questions or anything of that matter. Please email me or post and questions or comments, even concerns or topics. I can answer alot of questions regarding anything from formulas of hunters and mages to pet questions or even quest questions...
